I am the vine, you are the branches. In me you will bear much fruit, but you can do nothing apart from me. John 15:5

John 4 – Preview

On Oct. 10th we will study John 4, where Jesus interacts with a foreign woman from Samaria and a Roman official; both of whom are very different than Himself and the Jewish people he grew up with. Here are some considerations for your study:

1) Compare Jesus’ teaching on salvation in chapter 3 to his interactions in chapter 4. What can we learn about sharing the news of Christ with others (evangelism) from this passage?

2) How did Jesus engage in spiritual conversation with the woman and official?

3) What prevents you from sharing the gospel with people? Or how about just having spiritual conversation?
